VACATION I WENT ON…
It was
last month of year 2012. I was very excited for the coming New Year, because it
would be my first New Year celebration out of town. Finally the month December
had arrived much waited since summer. My shopping was done by November clothes,
accessories and a new bag.
It was for the first time I was out of town for
seven days, a short vacation with my dear friends. I was very excited and
thrilled. Couldn’t believe that parents had allowed for this trip. It was
Nelson who had planned out this vacation, this New Year party. New Year Party
in GOA! Yes! GOA!.
Some time we really need a break from our daily
routine life, away from work, people, traffic and etc. Everyone person deserves
some leisure time with friends, somewhere out, where no one would talk about
work, no one would talk about problems, it would be just enjoyment. That’s it!
These seven days out of Mumbai were amazing. My
first visit to Goa, that took on New Year with fantastic peoples, who wouldn’t
enjoy?
Our trip was planned via Road. We all love road
trips, so majority wins. Mumbai to Goa by road. It was a group of nine peoples,
Allwinn, Rahul, Aquib, Nelson, Kim, Tashaa, Harbir, Aslam and Me J.
It was 29th December 2013, our Journey
started from JVLR, at 6.00 am. It was suppose to start by 4.00 am, but yes we
all were running late of time. We had booked two Tavera’s and accordingly we
divided in two groups.
So finally the journey had begin playing music,
singing songs, cracking jokes on each other, making fun of each other,
recalling some old good memories, some mischief we had done in past. Sharing
each other’s stories, hows life is going, what’s the future plans, some are
planning to get married, some are thinking to switch their jobs.
So the journey was just moving and we started
taking out halts, 1st at Lonavala for breakfast, than Lunch and we
spent our night in Satara. We all were exhausted and tired. We all required
rest, wanted to hit the bed badly.
Next morning we left from Satara and begin our
journey, refilled our cars with petrol and stomach with food. All energetic and
excited to reach the destination. That whole day we took minimal halts, so that
we won’t waste much time.
On 30th December, 2012 midnight we
reached Goa. All were tired by that time; we had pre-booked our rooms in a
decent resort, which was close to beach. That night we all slept as soon as we
entered in our room.
Next morning, it was 31st December,
2012. The day of New Year part bash! We left the resort in the morning after
having our breakfast. We first booked few bikes for our easy travel in Goa.
Then some went for shopping, some went to beach and some were staying in their
room enjoying their sleep.
After lunch we decided where we have to go tonight.
It was Embreland Lounge, where we were suppose to stay still midnight, then
will decide where we have to hit next.
So reached our Venue by 10.00 pm, it was filled
with all beautiful faces, lovely couples dancing, having drinks. Everyone was
looking happy. Infact we guys were also very happy, as it was out first New
Year together.
We danced, different kind of songs were been
played Bollywood, Hollywood and also Goan. We were all exhausted dancing and
drinking.
Finally it was 1 minute left for 12.00 am,
everyone holding each other’s hands. Praying for a happy and blessed new year,
less worries more happiness. Then the countdown begins...and then it was 12.00
AM. Wow, 2012 passed away and 2013 arrived.
Each and everyone welcomed New Year and said good
bye to 2012. We hugged each other, felt happy we were together and prayed to
god that we all stay together forever, never fell apart. So again the music
started, we started dancing.
By 1.00 AM we left that venue and headed to Baga
Beach. We had an awesome candle light dinner under moon light night. It was
wonderful, sea shores, moon light, music, dinner and great friends. Such a
great beginning of New Year with happy faces.
Everyone started making their New Year resolution,
some said they would quit drinking, some would quit smoking, some would start
new career and some people like me didn’t make any resolution. I don’t need a
new year to start or stop anything. I can do that whenever I want.
We clicked a lot pictures that night and in the
whole trip. We were there still 6.00 AM, after then we headed back to resort,
all were tired and sleepy. We slept till afternoon. After wards had our lunch
and decided the next few days plan of Goa.
List of places to visit and girls were busy in
deciding what to shop and where to shop. That day we did some shopping, hang
out couple beaches. Next day we hit the shacks, sun bath, had lots of fun in
water.
Lots of Foreigners were there on beach, we use to
get confuse some time, whether we are in India or somewhere else. On 3rd
January 2013, we started our journey back to Mumbai. Leaving Goa back, taking
lots of memories we created together.
Bags were jammed pack with our stuffs, gifts,
cashew nut. We all were feeling low in heart as we were going back to the old
life, work, worries and lot of things which we had left back for few days.
This trip was not so huge or something, but it was
a little break from life, a small vacation with best buddies, where we created
great memories, had loads of fun, forgot all our worries and were just enjoying
our life to the fullest.
This was my latest vacation I went on…
